Who we are
Head Coach
The Head Coach brings a strong athletic and academic background to Thunderbird Legacy Volleyball Club. She played volleyball for Connally High School and helped lead several playoff runs during her career. She later played club volleyball with Austin Juniors Volleyball (AJV) and Texas Eclipse (now known as Roots Volleyball).
In addition to volleyball, the Head Coach competed in AAU basketball and participated in two national tournaments. Her multi-sport experience allows her to develop well-rounded athletes with strong competitive foundations.
The Head Coach holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Child Psychology and a Master’s degree in Communication and Public Relations. Her educational background supports her athlete-centered coaching philosophy focused on confidence, communication, and long-term development.
Assistant Coach
The Assistant Coach brings strong leadership, service, and organizational experience to Thunderbird Legacy Volleyball Club. She is a former United States Navy Petty Officer and received a U.S. Navy Meritorious Service Medal during her military career.
In addition to her military background, the Assistant Coach had a strong athletic experience during her school years. In her senior year as libero, she recorded 447 digs in a single season, demonstrating exceptional defensive skill, work ethic, and leadership on the court.
The Assistant Coach holds a Bachelor of Science in General Studies, and a Master of Science in Information Technology. She also holds graduate certificates in Human Resource Management and Leadership of Nonprofit Organizations.
Her leadership background and commitment to service help create a disciplined, supportive, and structured environment for athletes and families within Thunderbird Legacy Volleyball Club.
Club Director
The Club Director provides the leadership and organizational direction for the program. She oversees club operations, program development, and the long-term vision of building a competitive and supportive volleyball environment for youth athletes.
The Club Director holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, which supports her ability to manage the club with strong strategic planning, financial oversight, and operational organization. Her professional background allows her to guide the club with a focus on sustainability, community partnerships, and creating opportunities for athlete development.
Her leadership style emphasizes integrity, accountability, communication, and teamwork. The Club Director is committed to building a positive culture where athletes, coaches, and families feel supported while working toward shared goals both on and off the court.
Through Thunderbird Legacy Volleyball Club, the leaders aim to create a program that develops confident athletes, strong leaders, and a lasting legacy within the community.

Thunderbird Legacy Volleyball Club believes in developing the whole athlete. Our coaching philosophy focuses on skill development, teamwork, leadership, and personal responsibility. We strive to create a positive environment where athletes can grow competitively while learning life skills that extend beyond the court.
